Dr Maria Ingram studied medicine at the University of Western Australia – graduating in 1993.
Gaining registration and Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1998.
Maria has worked as a bariatric physician since 2009 and as a General Practitioner since 1998. The dual experience of bariatric physician and General Practitioner has given Dr Ingram an encompassing understanding of all aspects of the patient’s weight loss journey.
Witnessing the benefits, both medical and emotional, that follow a patient’s weight loss makes her job extremely rewarding.
Dr Maria Ingram is available for all follow-up care post bariatric surgery. Patients that have not had surgery due to a low BMI can also benefit from consultations to discuss options available to them besides surgery.
